TWO ANTHROPOLOGICAL COMMENTS ON THE TOPIC OF THE JAGELLONIAN RULE IN POLAND AND UKRAINE

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to make an appropriate choice of methodological direction for the study of the phenomenon of Jagiellonianism, which has acquired the meaning of the official political doctrine of modern Poland and which appears as a programmatic image directly (A. Panufnik, S. Morito) or indirectly and allusively (the Slavic theme in B. Lyatoshynsky) in the works of the greatest composers of the Modern Age, which determines the understanding of that phenomenon as a cultural phenomenon, respectively, the allocation of a culturological view of its total attributes – in the separation of art criticism and historical and sociological approaches. Methodological basis – hermeneutic approach from the cultural interdisciplinary analysis, as set out in the works of J. Baudrillard, A. Vasylkov, A. Kanarsky, Y. Kristeva, has been elaborated in the works of Ukrainian researchers, including D. Androsova, O. Zosim, O. Kozarenko, I. Lyashenko, O. Markova, A. Sokolova, O. Roschenko, V. Shulhina, O. Yakovlev, etc., with a special emphasis on religious-philosophical and racial-genetic factors in the formation of mental indicators of historical and creative-psychological national indices. And in this methodological perspective, the concept of cultural (psychologized philosophizing) “recognition” stands out. Scientific novelty – in originality the identification of the Jagiellonian complex in the traditions of various Slavic peoples precisely in the culturological vision of the underlying issues, with the obvious diversity of philosophical-aesthetic, socio-psychological, religious-political, art-historical-analytical perspectives of understanding the goals and meaning of the Jagiellonian achievements in different nations, in Ukrainian first of all. Conclusions. The cultural-anthropological approach to the problem of Jagiellonianism is prepared by the historical circumstances of the desperate struggle of Slavic nations for survival in the 13th–14th centuries, respectively, the anthropological approach from the concept of racial cultural unity of representatives of certain nations. This was combined with the religious-political doctrine of the official bi-confessionalism (in reality, multi-confessionalism) of the state orientation of the Jagiellonian empire, which gave rise to an original version of the philosophical-aesthetic refraction of Renaissance humanism as a worldview "dual world" oriented towards the Baroque hierarchy of aestheticization of Catholic and and the rejection of non-Catholic values, breaking the racial unity of the Jagiellonian union in favor of creative and artistic Sarmatism and in opposition to the Orthodox confessional flexibility of the Mogilev people in Ukraine. The cultural-anthropological view has the privileges of a hierarchically complex awareness of this cultural phenomenon, in which the index of racial opposition to other racial formations of his time acts as a systemic factor.
